A travel clinic a short drive from Springhead
Oldham Clinic is the private travel service at Westwood Pharmacy, a short drive from Springhead on Featherstall Road North. Tucked between Lees and Grotton on the semi-rural eastern edge of Oldham, Springhead is only a couple of miles from the clinic once you drop down towards the town. We are a NaTHNaC-designated Yellow Fever centre where a GPhC-registered pharmacist reviews your trip and gives every recommended vaccine in one visit, with no GP referral and no long wait.
Trusted by Springhead travellers
Springhead is a small village community, but its residents head off on the full spread of trips, from Mediterranean holidays and long-haul adventures to visiting family overseas and travelling for Hajj and Umrah. Meningitis ACWY is mandatory for the Saudi visa and must have been given within the last five years, so we administer it and issue the certificate the same visit, alongside the Hepatitis A, Typhoid and flu jabs commonly recommended for pilgrims. Children are welcome too, with most vaccines licensed from one year of age and Yellow Fever from nine months.
Every vaccine, one honest visit
There is no generic package here. Your pharmacist assesses your exact destination, length of stay and activities against the latest TravelHealthPro (NaTHNaC) guidance, then recommends only what you actually need and flags anything you might get free on the NHS first. Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis, Cholera and Meningitis ACWY are all held on-site, and malaria tablets can be prescribed and dispensed in the same appointment. See our booking page for current vaccine prices.
