Why Saddleworth travellers come to us

One travel clinic for all the Saddleworth villages.

For a travel clinic near Saddleworth, Oldham Clinic serves the whole parish, from Delph and Dobcross to Diggle and Grasscroft, down the A670 towards Oldham. The travel service at Westwood Pharmacy on Featherstall Road North offers a pharmacist-led consultation and every recommended vaccine in one visit, no GP referral, and a Yellow Fever certificate issued the same day.

A travel clinic for the Saddleworth villages

Oldham Clinic is the private travel service at Westwood Pharmacy, an easy drive down from Saddleworth on Featherstall Road North. Saddleworth is the Pennine parish that gathers Uppermill, Delph, Dobcross, Diggle, Greenfield and Grasscroft, and from any of them the A670 brings you down towards Oldham in around a quarter of an hour. We are a NaTHNaC-designated Yellow Fever centre where a GPhC-registered pharmacist reviews your trip and gives every recommended vaccine in one visit, with no GP referral and no long wait.

Where Saddleworth travels

Life in semi-rural Saddleworth often means village-hopping at home and ambitious travelling abroad. We look after trekkers and skiers taking their outdoor pursuits overseas, families off on long-haul holidays, and relatives visiting far-flung parts of the world. Every recommendation is matched to the trip, whether that is Yellow Fever for South America, Japanese Encephalitis for rural Asia, or the mandatory Meningitis ACWY and certificate for anyone travelling to Saudi Arabia for Hajj or Umrah.

One appointment, honest advice

We do not sell generic packages. Your pharmacist works through your exact destination, length of stay and activities against current TravelHealthPro (NaTHNaC) guidance, then recommends only what you genuinely need and flags anything available free on the NHS first. Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis, Cholera and Meningitis ACWY are all held on-site, and malaria tablets can be prescribed and dispensed in the same appointment. See our booking page for current vaccine prices.

From the Saddleworth villages, follow the A670 or A6052 down towards Oldham, roughly sixteen minutes by car, and park easily on arrival. The Westwood tram stop on the Manchester Metrolink Oldham and Rochdale line is a short walk from the clinic. Most appointments take 20 to 30 minutes.

Everything you need in one appointment.

No follow-up bookings and no 'come back next week for the second jab'. We sort the lot in one visit where clinically possible.
