Why Lees travellers come to us

A travel clinic a short drive down from Lees.

If you want a travel clinic near Lees, Oldham Clinic is a straightforward drive down Lees Road towards Oldham. The private travel service at Westwood Pharmacy on Featherstall Road North gives you a pharmacist-led consultation and every recommended vaccine in one visit, no GP referral, and a Yellow Fever certificate issued the same day.

Your local travel clinic near Lees

Oldham Clinic is the private travel arm of Westwood Pharmacy, a short drive from Lees on Featherstall Road North. Lees has a village feel on the western edge of the Pennines, the gateway to Saddleworth, yet it is only a couple of miles down Lees Road to the clinic. We are a NaTHNaC-designated Yellow Fever centre where a GPhC-registered pharmacist reviews your itinerary and gives every recommended vaccine in one visit, with no GP referral and no waiting weeks for a slot.

Who we see from Lees

Lees may sit on the quieter, greener side of Oldham, but its residents travel just as far as anyone. We look after walkers and adventurers heading to trekking destinations, families visiting relatives abroad, and pilgrims preparing for Hajj and Umrah. Meningitis ACWY is mandatory for the Saudi visa and must have been given within the last five years, so we administer it and issue the certificate the same visit, along with the Hepatitis A, Typhoid and flu jabs commonly advised for the pilgrimage.

One appointment, honest advice

We never sell a generic package. Your pharmacist works through where you are going, for how long and what you will be doing against the latest TravelHealthPro (NaTHNaC) guidance, then recommends only what you actually need and mentions anything you might get free on the NHS first. Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis, Cholera and Meningitis ACWY are stocked on-site, and malaria tablets can be prescribed and dispensed in the same visit. See our booking page for current vaccine prices.

Getting to the clinic from Lees

We are at 69-71 Featherstall Road North, Oldham OL9 6QB, with free patient parking on-site. From Lees, head west along Lees Road (A669) through the town and on towards Oldham, roughly eight minutes in all. The Westwood tram stop on the Manchester Metrolink Oldham and Rochdale line is a short walk from the clinic if you would rather not drive. Most appointments take 20 to 30 minutes.

Everything you need in one appointment.

No follow-up bookings and no 'come back next week for the second jab'. We sort the lot in one visit where clinically possible.
